step 4: Disable Modules Not required (Not compulsory but recommended).
Step 3.1: Set Up Your Subdomain
-- This feature is available in the Pro plan and higher.
To enhance your branding and create a seamless experience for your students and staff, we recommend setting up your subdomain.
Your subdomain will not only give you a unique URL for your platform but also enable Progressive Web App (PWA) features for better accessibility.
How to set up your subdomain:
1. Log in to your account.
2. Navigate to Custom Domain from the dashboard.
3. Under Type, select Subdomain.
4. In the URL field, enter the name you want for your subdomain (e.g., myschool.eskoolify.com).
Tip: Keep it simple and short for easy recall by students, staff, and parents.
5. Click Send to confirm your request.
Full Custom Domain (For Larger Institutions):
1. If you prefer a custom domain (e.g., myschool.com), select Domain under Type.
Please note that enabling a custom domain involves an additional one-time configuration fee.
Contact us at [email protected] for setup assistance and further details.
For small to medium institutions, we highly recommend starting with a subdomain as it doesn't cost extra and ideal for your initial needs. You can always upgrade to a full custom domain later if required
Once approved, your URL will be:
https://yoursubdomain.eskoolify.com
You can use this URL for all activities, including logging in and setting up your site. Your users will see this site, and you can personalize it with your academy’s images, branding, etc
Request an eSkoolify Email ID (if not already provided).
Contact support to request an email ID. You may suggest your preferred email address, and if available, it will be created for you.
- This email ID is required for setting up automatic email notifications.
- This email ID is only for configuring and setting up email triggers in the School Management Software. It is not for regular email sending or general email services.
- Since this email ID may be visible on your site (if you choose to setup in frontend) or you can set up your Gmail or other email as well, we strongly recommend setting up email forwarding to your personal Gmail, Yahoo, etc. This ensures that any emails sent to your eSkoolify address are automatically forwarded to your personal inbox. To enable email forwarding, please share your personal email ID (one that you check regularly) with our support team. They will set it up from the backend for you.
